Strong Standards. Stronger Schools.

Make developers meet our standards, pay their fair share and help fund our schools. Give projects that meet those standards a fair hearing.

Nov. 3Vote NO on the
data center ban

What’s on the ballot

Strong standards beat a permanent ban.

Our expectations

Protect, respect and pay the way.

Developers proposing a new data center in Oregon should protect our water, respect our neighborhoods and pay for the infrastructure they require. Benefits for our schools and community should come with commitments in writing and accountability.

What the ban would do

Close the door on most proposals.

The proposed charter amendment would prohibit most new data centers, including once-in-a-generation proposals that could meet those expectations.

What a NO vote does

Reject the ban. Keep the review.

A no vote simply rejects the proposed ban. It does NOT approve a particular project or guarantee a data center will be built.

Oregon’s existing zoning and permitting requirements would still apply, requiring applicable reviews and approvals before construction could proceed.
